In celebration of Arbor Day 2024, we donated a beautiful Autumn Blaze Maple to Ojibwa Elementary School in Macomb, Michigan. Arbor Day is an annual celebration of trees and their value. We held an assembly for the 5th grade class, where we got to learn about the importance of trees and their vital role in our planet’s ecosystem. During the assembly, we showed the kids the best practices in planting a tree and demonstrated our typical procedure. The class was excited to help us plant the trees with all the kids asking for a turn at digging the hole and filling it with fresh compost and soil. The company owners Joey and Jonathan both went to school here and were excited to visit their old stomping grounds and see some of their Elementary teachers. We were glad to donate our time to be able to teach children and get them excited about trees and landscaping!
