This backyard renovation consisted of a complete removal and replacement of an outdated patio and landscape. The client wanted a modern, clean patio with a built in brick firepit and a natural outcrop wall to retain it. Our team designed a sleek landscape to complement the XL slab pavers that created this new patio space for the client to enjoy. The natural outcrop stone wall curves along the driveway and includes a step up to the back patio for easy access. Boxwood hedges frame the patio and create a natural border. The landscape is completed with little quick fire hydrangeas, allium, blue fescue grass, nepeta, and arrowood viburnums, giving this outdoor oasis year-round color. Finally, a limestone stepping stone to the freshly sodded lawn adds to the charm of this project. The mix of bold hardscape and natural elements gave this property the updated backyard space it deserved.
