This project took an overgrown and outdated landscaping and turned it into a modern, sleek oasis that took this client’s curb appeal to the next level. This client asked us to tear out his old landscaping, which had become a wild mess over time, and design something new that would be easy to maintain but also add visual appeal to the front of the home. Our design staff created a 3D Rendering showing a new exposed aggregate patio and walkway, and a simple yet striking landscape design to go with it. The exposed aggregate is beige with brown-tinted borders, which brings out the brown highlights of the brick on the house. We added in a couple of landscape beds using two evergreen shrubs: boxwoods and yews. These add year-round color as well as some different textures and shapes. The remainder of the bed was filled with Japanese forest grass and coral bells for some added beauty. We then used a light brown stone to offset the dark borders of the aggregate. Also, we added two large brown planters with mums to give the porch some character. Finally, we added in landscape lighting to give this landscape a magical ambiance when it is dark out. All together, this landscape revamp completely changed the look of our client’s home from unkept and outdated to beautiful and modern.
